I’m passionate about building capacity for grassroots artists to thrive financially in the music industry.
I do strategy, coaching & tour support for independant artists and venues.
I offer strategy, coaching and tour support for independent artists and venues navigating the realities of building a sustainable career in music.
With experience across touring, bookings, management, publicity, venues and festivals, I help artists develop practical systems that support real-world careers — from touring strategy and audience growth to marketing, ticketing and income streams.
My coaching focuses on clear direct to fan strategy, practical tools and sustainable approaches that work for independent artists operating outside the major label system. 🎵
National touring artists I’ve worked with include Ash Grunwald (management, bookings & publicity), Beccy Cole (tour management & project management), Alex Lloyd (bookings), Lyn Bowtell (bookings) and Jen Mize (bookings), among many others.
Over the years I’ve mentored dozens of independent artists and seen the industry from every angle — from major label systems right through to DIY grassroots careers built on crowdfunding and guerrilla marketing with a shoestring budget.
Along the way I’ve tried and tested just about every tool available, and been mentored by some of the best minds in the music industry, including Jen Cloher (I Manage My Music), Clare Bowditch (Big Hearted Business), Roxanne Brown (Troy Cassar-Daly Management), Kristy Gostelow (Busby Marou Management), Tania Doko, Daniel Champagne, and Gina Mendello (Tommy Emmanuel Management).
I’m also, unapologetically, a business nerd with a deep love of spreadsheets.
With over 15 years of experience in the music industry, I’ve lectured in Cert IV Music Business at MusicSA, and guest lectured for MusicNSW and Griffith University. I’ve served on the board of the Songwriters, Composers & Lyricists Association, as well as the government-appointed Creative Industries Advisory Panel in South Australia.
My career has spanned work across festivals, record labels, publicity firms and state music organisations. I also co-founded live music venue The Backyard in Port Adelaide and founded the Feelgood Folk Festival.
As a songwriting mentor, I’ve worked with artists through SongMuster (Gympie Muster Songwriting Camp), DAG Songwriting Retreat, and She Retreats.
Alongside my work behind the scenes, I’ve also toured extensively as a musician and crew member.
As a booking agent, I bring the unique perspective of having personally played many of the venues I book as an artist. I’ve toured nationally as a session musician with Beccy Cole, Lyn Bowtell, Jen Mize and Amber Joy Poulton, as well as project managing Beccy Cole's camping tours - with and under the stars "Aussie Road Crew".
"She's known for having an extraordinarily rare voice" - CLARE BOWDITCH
Kelly Brouhaha is a powerhouse vocalist, transversing the lines of folk, country, blues, soul & jazz. Likened to the Eva Cassidy's and Linda Rondstadt's of the world, this is an artist who's unique style cannot be put into a box. From big blues to soulful country, it is music that is real and raw and vulnerable.
"it's just so much fun, that girls got amazing pipes, she sounds like Amy Winehouse - but with more of a soulful edge as opposed to a jazz hook"NKECHI ANELE - TRIPLE J ROOTS AND ALL
An accomplished acoustic guitarist with a vocal so powerful the audience is often left in tears, Brouhaha has racked a string of major festivals in 2023 including Gympie Music Muster, Woodford Folk Festival & Groundwater Music Festival.
"I really don’t know if we have anyone similar in Australia, I am pretty sure that we don’t. She has similar elements of other artists from overseas, and maybe a touch of Renee Geyer, but basically, she is a one-off. In a close tunnel genre in Australia, Kelly is Queen. She is a no-nonsense, firebrand" COWGIRL UP BLOG
"Her voice is old and new at the same time, wise and whimsical, cracked and smooth. It’s the voice of an accomplished singer who has dedicated herself to being a storyteller." - SUNBURNT COUNTRY MUSIC BLOG
Whether around a campfire, at a major festival or from behind a screen in the comfort of your living room - her captivating live show will have you giggling one minute and in tears the next as she tells stories about her travels, mental health battles, her family and her much loved 1992 Toyota Hiace "Pamela Vanderson".
